The morning of November 1, 2012, residents of Coronach were greeted with more than a cold wind.

Blowing in the wind were yards of toilet paper and sheets of newspaper, streets were filled with bicycle racks, benches and tires, windows were decorated with soap, doors with shaving cream, cars with soap, shaving cream, or silly string or a combination of it all.

Residents and Town of Coronach employees were kept busy cleaning up the mess of “tricksters” from Halloween, the night before.

Some Centre Street business people faced the cold wind to clean their windows, while many left the evidence of the vandalism for a warmer day.
