Following a busy tour through Northern British Columbia, Jeff Bryant and Zach Stevenson, of the Human Statues, are set for a short tour through Saskatchewan.
Their tour begins in Biggar on January 15 and winds its way through Melville, Watrous, Leader, Shaunavon to Assiniboia and finally Bengough on January 21.
Bryant and Stevenson, together comprise the folk/pop duo The Human Statues. Originally from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, these young men are on a mission to spread “jubilation” across the nation. Whether it’s playing high-energy band shows at festivals such as the Ottawa Blues Fest, or intimate acoustic performances in theatres across the country, Bryant and Stevenson are committed to connecting with people through humour, authenticity and a love of music and live performance.
The Human Statues blend an energetic pop sensibility with lyrical depth and love of vocal harmony.
The Assiniboia Arts Council and Bengough Municipal Arts Council bring the Human Statues as part of the 2011-12 Stars for Saskatchewan. Watch for details of the Good Lovelies, next up on the schedule on March 21 and 22, 2012.
