On the evening of April 25, 90 year old Leona Brenner, resident of the Coronach Health Centre, was thrilled to get a perfect hand in cribbage.  While playing crib with her daughter, Pat Harkness, Brenner couldn’t believe that she drew the perfect hand, of three fives and a jack.

The deal was sealed when a five was cut from the deck.

Brenner said that she couldn’t hide her excitement.  “Pat said, you have a good hand don’t you!” Brenner recalled with a giggle.

Brenner said this was her first perfect hand and that she has been waiting for it for all of her life.
