Coronach School

Eight Coronach Colts are selected each year to coincide with the four reporting periods in the high school

Students from Grades 7 through 12 are eligible and most times it is one junior and one senior

A particular student can only be selected once through the school year and usually only once through their high school years.

To be selected as a Colt there is an expectation of extra-curricular involvement; academic achievement and an expectation of behavior, respect and attitude.

The teaching staff of the Coronach School nominate students and then collectively select two each term.

Brenna Barrett

Brenna has been chosen as the first female Colt of the 2011-2012 school year.

Brenna is a very active member in the extra-curricular activities that our school and community have to offer.  Brenna participates in volleyball, basketball, badminton and track and field.  She also swims, plays ball and dances, and she presently participates and competes in tap and hip-hop.

Brenna works hard and she is very committed to her academic studies.  Last year, she received the award for the second highest average in her class for Grade Seven.   She is conscientious, respectful and a pleasure to teach.  Keep up the good work!

Congratulations Brenna

Riley Trithardt

Riley has been selected as the first male Coronach Colt of the 2011-2012 school year.

Riley has been actively involved in several of our extra-curricular activities in the school and in the community.  He has consistently participated in volleyball, badminton and track and field.  Last year he competed in the 400m, 800m, hurdles and running long jump.  In addition, Riley has played hockey and ball for the past ten years.  Riley also enjoys playing guitar in his spare time.

Riley has an excellent attitude, and consistently maintains good grades.    He is a valuable member of our school and community. Keep up the great work!

Congratulations, Riley!
