The Coronach Girl Guides held their annual enrollment ceremony at the Coronach Library on Wednesday December 7.

The Coronach Girl Guides has 25 members in three different groups. There are six members in the Girl Guides, 13 in Brownies and six in Sparks. Janel Korbo, Giselle Wilson and Brittani Bruder are the leaders in those respective groups.

As a part of enrollment, each group performed their opening and closing rituals and recited their Girl Guides’ pledge to the leader and the many family and friends that were gathered.

The girls received pins that signified the years that they have been a member of the Girl Guides.

After the formal part of the program, everyone stayed to enjoy cupcakes, cookies, chips, fruit platters and many other goodies.

The groups have meetings once a week at the Coronach Library and also have special days planned throughout the year.
