Minutes of the Regular February Meeting of the Council of the Town of Coronach held in the town office on the 14th day of February, 2012.
Deputy Mayor Troy Bartlett called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM with the following present: Emerson Jones, Tom McLay (via conference call), Sylvia Nelson and Administrator Murray Setrum.
Foreman Robert Wilson’s Public Works Report was reviewed.
The RCMP Report was reviewed.
(Jones-Nelson) that the Agenda be adopted as amended. Carried.
(Jones-McLay) that the minutes of January 10, 2012 be adopted as circulated. Carried.
(Nelson-Jones) that the financial statement for the month of January, 2012 be adopted as presented. Carried.
(Jones-McLay) that the correspondence be acknowledged and authorize the filing of the same. Carried.
(Bartlett-Nelson) that approval be given for one half the costs of $9,529.57 for a jointly funded Town and RM sand and salt shed. Carried.
(Nelson-McLay) that Brad Adam be requested to check to the end of the ice season the compressors at the Coronach Sportsplex. Carried.
(Nelson-Bartlett) that approval be given for Geransky Metals of Birch Hills, Saskatchewan to clean up the metal pile at the landfill. Carried.
(Nelson-Jones) that approval be given for a $150.00 ad in the Assiniboia Times for the Assiniboia Centennial 1912-2012 July 27, 2012. Carried.
(Bartlett-Nelson) that approval be given for Lindy Cairns to work as a Career Work Placement student as sponsored by the Coronach School. Carried.
(Jones-McLay) that approval be given for the Coronach Health Advisory Board to look into alternate options for the operation of the Coronach Ambulance Service. Carried.
(Nelson-McLay) that the bills and accounts in the amount of $81,293.51 as attached hereto and forming part of these minutes be approved. Carried.
