Gracyn Johnson introduced their guest speaker, Mrs. Marilyn Zak, who was asked to talk to the graduates about their chosen theme: “To succeed, your desire for success must be greater than your fear of failure”. She commented on each graduate’s strengths and positive qualities. Mrs. Zak entertained a captivated audience with humorous anecdotes from the classroom. She concluded that everyone on the stage tonight had the ability to succeed.
The audience then viewed an outstanding slide show created by Dakota McLean.
Mrs. Lana Nogue, principal, addressed the class of 2012. After her compliments to the graduates, she showed an ‘info commercial’ created by her with interviews of staff members. Ceremonial pseudo diplomas were presented to the grads.
Reverend Todd Moroz delivered the benediction. The grads and their escorts left the stage and later returned for the Grand March to dance to ‘It’s All About Tonight’. ‘Don’t Blink’ was the song chosen for the dance with their parents.
