On March 27, a Heritage Fair Open House was held in Glentworth Central School. Nineteen grade 5, 7 and 8 students participated in the Third Annual Heritage Fair supervised by Mrs. Tetreau. Displays were Musical Ride by Jordan DeBruyne, Olympic Men’s Hockey by Mahteya Dumelie, Karen Kain by Katelyn Fehr, Home Children by Hannah Galbraith, War of 1812 to 1814 by Shiane Goodwin, the Black Donnelly’s by Callie McCrea, Roy Brown (World War I Flying Ace) by Logan Peterson, Sarcan by Brody Zak, Oil Sands by Miriah Petersen, L’anse aux Meadows by Taryn Harden, Crazy Canucks by Kyle Pana, Tunnels of Moose Jaw by Emily Wallace, IMAX Theatre by Tkeyae Reader, Ethel Catherwood by Allison McCrea, Buffy Sainte- Marie by Shaylyn Goodwin, Polar Bears and Climate Change by Paul Primeau, Ernie Richardson by Wade LeCaine, Bombardier Snowmobiles by Garett Roy and Canadian Made World War II Equipment by Mason Peigan.

The students did a remarkable job of researching their topics and organizing their displays.

The judges commended all the students on a job well done. Great research, hard work and effort rewarded four students who will advance to the next level of competition

Winners were Katelyn Fehr, Hannah Galbraith, Tkeyae Reader and Allison McCrea.

Congratulations and good luck at the next level of competition at the Moose Jaw Heritage Fair in April!
