57-year-old faces two charges

The Coronach/Bengough RCMP released further details in regards to the drug bust in Bengough on Tuesday, January 15.

According to the news release, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Bengough RCMP and the Regina Police Service Investigative Response Team executed a search warrant on the 600 block of First Street East, Bengough.

Police seized 287 grams of cocaine and $14,940 in cash.

In connection to police investigation, 57-year-old William Ross Butler, of Bengough, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of

trafficking and also charged with possession of proceeds of crime

over $5,000.

Butler is scheduled to make his first appearance in Assiniboia Provincial Court on Thursday, March 14th, 2013.
