Former Liberal candidate and now town councillor for the town of Coronach, has officially announced her endorsement of New Democrat Ken Kessler in the run up to the November 7 election.

“I really support the local campaign that he is presenting in this election,” said Christopherson-Cote. “We have been consistently over-looked in this election. There are a lot of issues that are affecting the people of Coronach, most notably the lack of doctors or nurse-practitioners.”

The town is home to SaskPower’s Poplar River Power Station and Sherritt Coal’s Coal Mine, along with the agriculture industry in the area.

This community has not had a family doctor for almost 3 years.

“I am really happy that Colleen gave me her endorsement,” said NDP Candidate Ken Kessler.

Kessler was in Coronach on Friday, October 28 to meet with constituents.  He was to make a special announcement at this meeting.
