Oh the weather outside is frightful!!!
Is that the song that comes to your mind when you see snow?
Or. . . It’s beginning to look alot like Christmas!! or Walking in a Winter Wonderland!
For me, storms bring the first song and a beautiful cover of sparkling snow brings the others.
I suppose everything doesn’t bring a song to mind for you, like it does for me.
I attended my first community choir practice last week and as much as I didn’t want to leave the comfort of my living room, I really enjoyed singing the Christmas music and walking home through the snow after.
I have heard lots of complaining about the snow, so maybe if you are not feeling the “Winter Spirit” you could sing a few carols and go for a stroll. . . worked for me!
I love the snow. I don’t love winter, but if we have to have winter, then I say bring on the snow. I remember that Christmas, not long ago, when we had no snow, and it was above zero on Christmas Day. That was just wrong!
I know that snow brings with it, all sorts of trouble with roads and traveling, but I am the daughter, cousin or mother of the tire men in town, so if you need any help, I have their number!!
Things got going on the hockey side of the Sportsplex last weekend. It was a busy weekend around there. The curling ice isn’t quite ready, but hopefully this week. I was very happy to see the hockey going again. It has become too easy to sit on the couch in front of the big screen and watch my recorded television shows.
The big Craven announcement this week with all of their line-up! 235 days till Diamond Rio opens up the beer gardens for the 2012 edition of the Craven Country Jamboree. It really is slightly embarrassing how excited I am.
Darren is putting up with my insanity over country music and Craven. I am pretty sure he will soon see the error in his ways with that head banging music that he chooses to play on Fridays, when I am not here. I am pretty sure that he has been thinking about ordering up a Craven ticket to see what all the excitement is about. If you have his name for Christmas and don’t know what to buy him. . . just sayin’. . .
