This week I think I’m going just going to fill my column with some of my random thoughts. So, in others words, this should be one short read for you. My brain has been on over-load lately, so the less thinking I have to do, the better.

Thankfully 99% of my Christmas shopping is done. I always get it done early, don’t care for the crowds at all. Mainly for those people who leave their shopping carts in the middle of the aisle, walk away from it and then are surprised that it’s in my way. ”I’m sorry, let me move that for you.” Really? I just want to smack them. I guess they could use the excuse that it has a bad wheel and that it has a mind of it’s own, because after all, every cart seems to have one of those.

I’m writing this week with the Oilers’ game on in the background, and they’re down 5-2 in the third period to the lowly Carolina Hurricanes. I think it’s time to watch the season finale of Sons of Anarchy. Fantastic show if you have never seen it. I’ll PVR the rest of the game just in case they make a big comeback. Not holding my breath though. Not sure why I would want to hold my breath. Seems like a silly thing to do because of hockey game. If I was swimming, then holding my breath would make more sense.

Anyone else use a level to hang pictures on the wall so they are perfectly straight? Yeah, me too.

Google is still the greatest invention ever. Today it helped me fix a setting on the work camera that has been messed up for a while. A two minute search and it is back to normal. It also helped me tie a Girl Guides scarf for my daughter, Kay-lyn. I had no idea it was that complicated and were that many steps to tying one of those things.

If you ask me to be your friend on Facebook, and your profile picture is a car, I will automatically assume you are a Transformer.

I like to shovel snow. Yeah, I said it! But really, it is good exercise in the winter months when we normally don’t move around as much. And I can’t stand sidewalks and walkways that get packed with snow and ice. It’s unsafe and looks like crap. This message is brought to you by the S.S.S.S., the Snow Shovelers for Safety in Saskatchewan. I think I might have just made that up.

Why is it when you run into a spider web, you suddenly turn into a ninja? Also, for those that are scared of spiders, which is more scary? Seeing a spider, or seeing a spider run away and not knowing where it went?

Well, Sons of Anarchy finale was good. A twist I never seen coming at the beginning, and lots of story yet to be told. I was going to tune in next season anyway.

The Oilers lose, so I made the right call not watching the end.

Now Kay-lyn is talking in her sleep, that always good for a laugh. I usually like to go in her room and ask her questions, hoping to spark up a conversation. It never works though.

I think I’m rambling now, which means it’s time for bed. Goodnight.
