Thirty players filled the roster for the Assiniboia Rockets Bantam Football team. 13 players from the Assiniboia Elementary School, 4 from the Assiniboia Comp High School, four from Lafleche, four from Glentworth and one each from Kincaid, Coronach and Mossbank.
The Assiniboia Rockets Bantams opened up their 2010 schedule on September 3 against the Moose Jaw Raiders.

The Rockets may have been playing their first game, but they showed the Raiders they were ready to play.
The Raiders started off the show with a long pass from Qb Thomas Spence to Kaleb Bell for a 70 yd Td.
Spence kicked the 2 pt convert, as well a 24 yd field goal, and another 2 pt convert later on in the game when Nathan fall scored on a 34 yd run.
Tyson Pisio had a fumble and Ryland Blacklaw had an interception for the Raiders.
The Rockets kept pace by Nolan Berner tossing a 30 yd Td to Teagan Slough, Carson Cayer got the convert.
Cayer had the other two Td along with a 76 yd interception return that set up the game winner which he ran in with no time left on the clock,Danny Malesh hauled in the convert pass for the win.

It was a great day for football down in Assiniboia. The game was a defensive battle early and stayed like that for most of the game. The Colts got on the board first with a Parker Chow 41 yard run which saw them take an early 6-0 lead. The Rockets were able to get back into the game before the half and take the lead later in the 4th with two TD runs by Carson Cayer. The Rockets D stopped a late push by the Colts to hold on for the win.

This game was a battle for first place in the Bantam Division and was a good one.
Both teams defences played very well, giving up very few yards but on occasion gave up the big play. Eagles Nathan Sanford scored on an 81 yd run and kicked two 2pt converts and hauled in a pass for 61 yd.
Riley Raduik had the other touchdown, while carring the ball 11 times for 37 yd. Rockets got their big play from Jacob Eger, who returned a punt 91 yd for a TD, as well as 32 yd on 6 touches, Kyle Bouvier, had 12 carries for 30 yd.

The Rockets were able to get ahead early and never looked back. Carson Cayer of the Rockets scored two TDs early in the game with Jacob Labocetta scoring the Falcons points on a great 40 yard run.
The Rockets had a 20-8 lead at the half and held on for the win.
October 1

Carson Cayer stole the show in this one scoring all the points for the Rockets, while doing his best to try and stop the Colts from getting anything.
Cayer had three Td and two 2 pt converts while amassing a172 yd on 15 touches, Kyle Bouvier had 6 carries for 30 yd.
Mason McCloud had a fumble recovery. Colts got their lone TD from Drew Nimegeers from 3 yd out. Zack Lethbridge, had a interception return for 40 yd.

October 9
Eagles 0 at Rockets 32
A great day for football in Assiniboia, which saw the Eagles play the Rockets in a fight for first place. The Rockets were able to take advantage of a short staffed Eagles team to end the first half with a 30 nothing lead. Touchdowns by Carson Cayer (2), Kyle Bouvier, and Jacob Eger put the Rockets in the lead and never looked back as they won the game 32-0.

On October 22, in Semi Final playoff action the fourth place Colts were up against the first place Rockets.

The Rockets and Colts both played great defence with very little offence or at least scoring was minimal Carson Cayer was the Rockets offence as he carried the ball 26 times for 156 yd. While the Colts were led by Zack Lethbridge, who had 80 yd on 12 carries. The only points put up on the score board were off the foot of Cayer, who kicked a 21 yd field goal on the last play of the half and that became the game winner.
MVPs were Colts Austin Richardson and Rockets Isaiah Moffat.

The Bantam Championship game was held on October 29, 2010 with the second place Raiders up against the first place Rockets.

The game was a defensive battle all night long, with big hits and interceptions Rockets had 3 Int and the Raiders had 1. The lone Td came on a 20 yd pass to wide receiver Tegan Slough from Nolan Berner. Carson Cayer kicked the 2 pt convert, Cayer had 13 touches for 48 yd to lead the Rockets. Cody Lightfoot, Jacob Egar and Mark Fauser all had Int. Raiders were led by Thomas Spence and Nathan Fall who both had 6 carries each Fall had 22 yd and Spence 21, Spence also had 4 completions one to Wyatt Reid for 27 yd, Fall had three for 20 yd.
The MVPs of the game were Raiders Jordan Nicholson and Rockets Michael Ludtke.
The bantams were unable to keep their streak alive and came up short in the provincial final in Saskatoon on November 7.
