Football Saskatchewan’s Annual “Regional Competition” of the Pass, Punt, and Kick was a complete success, Sunday, October 16th at the Assiniboia Composite High School. The winners of the Regional Competition will now compete in the North/South simultaneous Championships in Regina and Saskatoon on October 22, 2011. From there eighteen (9 boys and 9 girls) winners will be invited to Regina (expenses paid) to be presented with their prizes at the Saskatchewan Roughriders vs Hamilton Tiger Cats game, Saturday October 29th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.
The Regional Competition included competitors from Assiniboia, Bengough, Coronach, Gravelbourg, Lafleche, Limerick, Rockglen, and Viceroy. The winners of the Regional (Region 3) Competition in Assiniboia included:
