Sixteen teams teed off in the annual Par 3 golf tournament at the Coronach Golf Club on Saturday, June 2.
The skies were clear and the temperatures were hot for most of the day. Rain began to fall as the teams were finishing up their third and final round.
On the line was 24 chances at a hole in one prize of $1000 and three chances at $1500, a hole sponsored by Kramer Tractor.
The player to get the closest to the big prize money was Ken Mack, who came within 4 1/4 inches of a Hole-in One on Hole #7.
Golfers had a chance to enter for a “Chip-to-Win” on Hole #9 for a cash pot that started out with $200 from Conexus Credit Union. First Place – Mike Boulds $474.00; Second Place – Claude Rousseau $316.00

There were two ties, two teams for first and three teams for third, at the end of regulation play. Winners were decided in a chip off.
Dennis Hicks, Club President, reported $5600 in cash prizes was distributed among the players. He was pleased with the day. “Thanks to everyone for coming. It was a good turnout, we hope to see you all next year!” he said.
