On September 3, Labour Day Monday, the Coronach Golf Club hosted their annual golf club championship.
Twenty four golfers teed off for 18 holes to determine this year’s winners.
Members of the Coronach Golf Club booked tee times between 11:30 and 1:30 and handed in their cards at the end of their round.
The course was busy with golfers doing their championship rounds and those out to enjoy a round on the beautiful fall day.
The weather stayed par for the course for this summer, with temps in the mid 20s with a warm sun shining.
The 2012 Club Champions were announced at the end of the day over an optional burger supper.
The low score of the day went to Riley Grona, who carded a 70 for the day and secured his second straight junior title.
Riley won the 16 & over division, with the club awarding a second junior title to Brady Resch for the new 16 & Under age group.
In the Men’s division, Corwin Jepson picked up the top spot in the Low Gross with a 74, ahead of Cam Elder and Boycie Elder who came in with 81s for the day.
Boycie Elder won the Low Net with an adjusted score of 68.0.
Marvin Holbrook picked up the Senior Men’s Low Gross
with an 81 and the Low Net with 68.9.
In the Ladies Division, Christa Elder picked up her fourth low gross score with an 87.
The Low Net went to Tammy Clavelle with an adjusted score of 68.2.
In the Senior Ladies’ Division, Sheila Goddard edged out Deloris Hicks in a putt off for Low Net, with a 96 and Deloris Hicks won the Low Gross with a 75.8.
