The Notre Dame Hounds have picked up three straight wins to begin the new year. They had back-to-back 2-1 victories over Prince Albert with one coming in overtime. They also downed Swift Current 5-1 on January 11.
Coronach’s Kylee Kupper has played in 12 games for the Hounds and has three goals, six assists for nine points, as well as 10 penalty minutes.
SJHL
The Notre Dame Hounds had a 1-2 week, losing 5-2 to Nipawin and 2-1 to Flin Flon. They got back in the win column with a 4-0 victory over LaRonge on January 8. The Hounds record is now 14-25-0-3 which gives them 31 points and fifth place in SJHL’s Sherwood Division.
Right winger Catlin Foley of Coronach remains with six goals and 13 points. Blain Thomson of Assiniboia picked up his first goal of the season to go with his four assists.
The Battleford North Stars played one game last week and defeated Weyburn, 5-3. The North Stars record is 30-9-0-2 for 62 points and second in the Bauer Division. Assiniboia’s Kyle Hall has 10 goals and 17 assists in 41 games played.
