The Wood River Ice Cats finished up thier season with a record of 6-15-3 for 15 points. The 12th place finish means they will play the fifth place Regina Flames in the first round, best-of-three series.
Regular season leading scorer for the Ice Cats was Merissa Zerr with 17 goals and 10 assists. A close second was Bailey Briere with 15 goals and 11 assists.

The Midget AA Icecats finished the 28 game regular season with a record of 7-18-3 for 17 points and sixth spot in the eight team league. Tessa Wison lead the team in scoring with eight goals and nine assists.
The Icecats with play the Weyburn Drillers in the first round of the playoffs.
SFMAAAHL
The Notre Dame Hounds wrapped up thier regular season Saturday, Feb. 18 with a 2-1 victory over the Regina Rebels.
The Hounds finished in first place with a record of 23-3-2-0 for 48 points. Moose Jaw’s Olivia Howe was scoring leader for the Hounds with 32 goals and 32 assists. Brittany Berisoff also had a great seaon with 24 goals and 25 assists. Coronach’s Kylee Kupper ended up with 5 goals, 10 assists for 15 points and 24 penalty minutes in 20 games played.
The Hounds began their first round playoff series on Saturday, Feb. 25 as they hosted the Battleford Sharks.
SJHL
The SJHL’s regular season is in the books. The Notre Dame Hounds ended it on an 0-3 week. Their record finished at 22-33-0-3 for 47 points and fifth place in the Sherwood Division.
Coronach’s Catlin Foley’s final point total was nine goals, 10 assists for 19 points and 80 penalty minutes. Assiniboia’s Blaine Thomson ended up with three goals, six assists for nine points and 77 penalty minutes.
The Hounds will face the Estevan Bruins in the first round of the playoffs. The best-of-five series began on Friday, Feb. 24.
The Battlefords North Stars were second in the Bauer Division with a record of 41-15-0-2 for 84 points.
Kyle Hall of Assiniboia had 13 goals, 24 assists for 37 points and 20 penalty minutes.
