McCord’s 36th Annual Indoor Pro Rodeo was held September 23 and 24 at the McCord rink.
Saturday’s events started at 1:00 p.m. with a Trade Show in the curling rink and the Local Championship Jackpot Team Roping.
Short Stuff Stampede at 5:00 p.m. saw approximately 25 young people take to the arena. Events included Stick Horse Racing, Stick Horse Barrel Racing, Dummy Roping and Water Gun Target Practice. The Stick Horse Derby was won by Kane Kuffner. Organizer was Sheena Peterson.
Rodeo events were held on Friday and Saturday night. Stock Contractor was Big Stone Rodeo- Bruce Sunstrum. The announcer was Barry Boghean. The Bull Fighter was Dave Sandilands.
