Tuesday, May 29, the South Central District Track meet was held at Gutheridge Field in Moose Jaw. All athletes in the Senior, Midget and Junior age divisions finishing in first or second qualified for the provincial meet.
Coronach had a total of 19 athletes competing, with two athletes, Brandon Thurlow and April Menke advancing to Provincial competition.
Bengough had 11 athletes competing, with Janaya Welburn advancing to Provincials in Javelin. Bantam aged Joely Welburn, finished first in the Bantam division, with a perfect score of 4 firsts
and broke the record in the 200m.
Rockglen sent 18 athletes with Vera Crooks advancing to the Provincials.
